I have recently been bombarded with calls from clients who want "to get away from it all" and looking for that place "in the middle of nowhere". Is it because our lifestyles of today are so fast pace verses those of our parents or grandparents? Or is it that yearning for a home found on the canvas of a Tim Cox painting? I don't have the answers to life's great mysteries, but I have found my clients the homes they were looking for right here in Cochise County.
I consider myself a country girl at heart, who always longed to be a big city business woman. But the truth of the matter is there was nothing like growing up in a town of 500, having chickens and lambs in your backyard and being able to enjoy the quiet sounds of birds in your trees. I have lived in the city long enough to appreciate a night sky filled with a thousand stars, and the smell of dew in the morning. Perhaps I have a bit of the nostolgic also in my veins!
