Fire in the Sky over Yavapai Lake, Prescott Valley, Arizona

A few days ago, I took a walk at sunset in a fabulous park in Prescott Valley. I was not carrying a camera, but I had my new Droid X phone with me. I was impressed by what I saw and just had to take a picture of it. Here is the photo that I took.

This photo was taken at sunset looking eastwardly. There was a tiny hole in the clouds in the west that allowed a ray of yellow sunsine to strike the small cloud. It is monsoon season now, so there are lots of beautiful clouds every day.

I did not see this as a picture taking opportunity because I was waking in a public park, Mountain View Park on Lakeshore drive. This park serves a lot of people with varried interests. Here is an aerial view of the park.
