Is the TEA Party a "Starfish"?

I have just started a very interesting book: The Starfish and the Spider by Ori Brafman and Rod Beckstrom. In this book, the authors contrast organizations with the traditional "top down" heirarchy with the distributed form of organization(s).

If one cuts off the head of a spider [head of the top down organization] it will die. If you cut off an arm of a starfish, it may grow a new arm. The piece of the starfish may become a new starfish.

I have been ostracized by one of our local TEA Parties because I refused to "tow the line" and follow their leadership. I am in the process of spawning a new TEA Party to be known as the Prescott Valley TEA Party. The roots of the Prescott Valley TEA Party are We the Informed People which is really a TEA Party without the name.

The Left has been unsuccessful in their attacks against the TEA Parties, primarily because we do not have a specific leader.

Since the individual TEA Parties seek different goals and emphasis, we will be able to accomplish much more.

This book is a very easy and interesting read. Check it out!
