Gainey Ranch Golf Club
Gainey Ranch is a golf community in Scottsdale with 27 award winning holes located at the intersection of Scottsdale Road and Doubletree Ranch Road. This community was once owned by Daniel C. Gainey and used as an Arabian horse ranch. Surrounded by the natural Sonoran desert with breathtaking views of the McDowell Mountains, it is easy for members to relax and make Gainey Ranch their home.
Gainey Ranch offers three distinctly separate 9-hole golf courses: the Dunes, the Lakes, and the Arroyo. These courses were designed by Michael Poellot, who used to be the chief architect for Robert Trent Jones Jr. The Lakes course is made up of sparkling waterways, a waterfall at the 9th hole, and lush greenery. The Dunes course showcases the beauty of the natural Sonoran desert and the Arroyo course is the longest of all courses requiring placement and power. For the golf enthusiast, there are many golf leagues and tournaments that members are able to join. Not only does Gainey Ranch offer exceptional golf courses, but they offer many services to add to the Gainey Ranch experience. Some of these services include golf lessons, the ability to store your bag at the club, golf club repairs and fittings, locker rentals, and also cart rentals.
Gainey Ranch also provides several different dining choices for members. First is the Terraces Dining Room. This is a casually elegant, full-service dining room, with indoor and outdoor seating. Next, the Member's Grill offers views of the Arroyo course, four televisions, indoor and outdoor seating, and a full-service bar. The Member's Grill offers a casual setting and is perfect for relaxing after a long day of golf. Lastly, the 19th Hole Snack Bar is located on the Terraces patio. This is a carry-out service which offers food such as sandwiches, hot dogs, snacks, and beverages. In addition to the three dining choices, there are also "roving beverage carts" throughout the golf courses during normal golf hours.
Gainey Ranch is also the perfect place to host special events. Some events that are commonly held at Gainey Ranch include weddings, seminars, showers, holiday parties, business meetings, school parties, private dinners, reunions, and much more. For corporate events, Gainey Ranch has the ability to accommodate groups of 10 to 250 very comfortably.
