Laureen Leston - John Hall & Associates Named Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Year

CONGRATULATIONS WINNERS!
The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce honored six volunteer leaders who embody the spirit of volunteerism during the Sixth Annual Business Volunteer Awards on Friday, June 6th. The evening featured the "Shop Scottsdale Raffle", a dazzling array of great food, a “mystery tree” filled with raffle items, music, and video presentations.

The Chamber had the privilege of recognizing 6 outstanding Chamber volunteers and community members. This was also our opportunity to say THANK YOU to the more than 200 volunteers who serve on the Chamber’s eleven advisory councils and committees. Your guidance, dedication and hard work allows the Chamber to continuously grow and change to meet the needs of our members.

Ambassador of the Year

The Ambassador of the Year Award recognizes an individual of outstanding character who has acted as a steward for the Chamber.

Our 2008 Ambassador of the Year is a full-time residential Realtor, creating opportunities for home buyers and sellers with their real estate investment needs. She holds a Bachelor of Business Management with a Strategic Marketing emphasis from the University of Phoenix. She has been a valley resident since 1992 and has served as the Marketing and Branding Director for several of the Valley’s top home builders.

As a volunteer, she is Co-Chair for the Scottsdale Chamber’s Airpark Committee, served as Chair for the Chamber Airpark Promotions & Outreach Committee, she is the incoming Chair of the Ambassador committee and is a regular at all Chamber networking events. In addition to her efforts with the Chamber, she serves as 1st Vice President of the Scottsdale Lions Club and volunteers her time with ASU and the Spirit of Enterprise Awards.
