Troon Country Club Community
This member owned country club was established in 1986. The country club, located near Troon Mountain and Pinnacle Peak, is part of a 1,400 acre golf community known as Troon Village. Troon Country Club does not require members to own property in Troon Village, in fact, there is no difference between property and non-property members.
Residents are able to choose between luxurious custom homes or beautiful two-bedroom town homes. Inside of Troon Village are several different gated communities such as Quail Ridge, Troon Ridge Estates, Windy Walk, Whispering Ridge, and Glenn Moor. Lots are priced between $400,000 and $1 million and homes will range from $500,000 to over $3 million.
The 50,000 square foot Troon Clubhouse displays architecture that is influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright. The Clubhouse underwent a multi-million dollar remodel in 2003 in order to maintain an elegant and luxurious setting for members. At the Clubhouse, members can eat with reasonable prices in an elegant setting. Also located here is a state of the art fitness center complete with personal trainers and the most recent work out equipment, tennis courts and programs with a full time tennis Pro, and a lagoon pool which is heated all year and a pool side grill. Just another benefit members have at Troon Country Club is the access to trusted Massage Therapists. Some services available include Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Massage, Reflexology, Rolfing, Swedish and Therapeutic massage, Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques, Acupuncture, Neuromuscular Massage, Myofascial Release, Chinese Internal Medicine and Herbal Prescription. Troon also provides many activities for members such as Troon Ladies and Men's Clubs, theater outings, bridge, hiking, mahjong, movie and book Clubs, speaker forums, Troon Mountain Wine Society and special holiday events.

In fact, this golf course has been ranked in the top 100 golf courses in the world for over 20 years. It was designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish to portray the Royal Troon golf course in Scotland. The course is kept in perfect condition all year and is a great course for novice or accomplished players. Tim Rafferty, the head PGA Golf Professional, and Bill Forrest, the Director of Instruction, are always available to give lessons and tips to help members to better their game.
