Sun City West Arizona Realestate Market Update

Sun City West AZ real estate retirement community inventory levels for homes off the golf course are slowing creeping up, increasing this this week over last week. The present absorption rate, the rate at which the inventory of homes for sale are being sold, is 32 weeks.

As of September 6, there are presently 16 homes listed in foreclosure in Sun City West. 39 foreclosed properties have sold and closed in escrow since September 6, 2008. There are 15 active short sale listings. 8 short sale listings are awaiting bank approval/financing, and 9 short sale properties have closed in escrow since September 6, 2008. Short sales and foreclosures remain low considering that there are over 19,800 homes in Sun City West.
