Sun Lakes AZ IronOaks Annual Charity Event

This year's Calcutta, IronOaks Tennis Club's annual charity event, will start Saturday, February 4th at 12 noon. Come and enjoy a BBQ lunch (free for players and $5 for others) and join the auction to become the owner of one of the more than 40 teams competing in men's or women's doubles. Don't want to be the sole owner? Join with a group of friends to bid on teams.

Play will take place February 6^th - 11^th. The finals will be on Saturday the 11th. Owners of the winning teams will designate the charities that will receive the proceeds.

Charities include Neighbors Who Care, Sunshine Acres, American Heart Association, Susan G Komen, Pet Adoption Center, My Sister's Place, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Michael J Fox Parkinson's Research and others. Last year $7,279 was donated to these charities. We hope to exceed that amount this year.

The Calcutta is open to players from the IronOaks Tennis Club, and residents from Sun Lakes and Sunbird. Spectators (from anywhere) are warmly welcomed to join in the festivities. Whether you bid on a team, buy raffle tickets for great prizes, or choose to be a sponsor at the Diamond, Gold, Silver, or Bronze level, your donation will serve those in need.
