Grand Opening!!! Fry's Marketplace comes to Prasada in Surprise, AZ

There is excitement in some of the Surprise Arizona neighborhoods today as Fry's Marketplace has opened one of it's beautiful super stores in the new Prasada master planned retail location.

It was hard to find parking but I wasn't going to leave until I had an opportunity to see what was there. It is gorgeous and had all the departments I've come to love in their other super store locations.

In addition to the quality produce, deli, meat, seafood, dairy, bakery and floral departments we've come to love, you'll find one of my favorite haunts (a really nice Starbuck's) as well as an expansive health food selection (another favorite), housewares, toys, pharmacy and so much more.

Of course there are lots of festivities and freebies that come with a grand opening. My husband Rick Anderson, who is the manager of Fletcher's Music Center in Sun City West sent his sales crew over, with one of their Lowery organs, to play music for the shoppers. When I walked up Charles was dancing with one of the patrons to the Tennessee Waltz Alex was playing.

I would have loved to have taken many pictures to show you here on this blog post but that would have required corporate approval from the Fry's Marketplace home office. Trust me when I say, you will want to plan on making the trip. The location is on the corner of Cotton Ln & Greenway, adjacent to the Sierra Montana & Surprise Farms communities.
