Obviously, it would be hard to define the “perfect” home. Peoples taste, lifestyle, budget and many other factors come to play when deciding which type of home to choose. When I first discovered River Run in Tempe, I began to think of the wide variety of people that might like to call rive run their home.
Driving in to the community, there is the security of it’s gated entry, inside, you find well manicured common areas, tennis courts, swimming pools and a sand volleyball court. While these activities might not fit everyones needs, who could argue with the fact that they might be nice to have around? Having a golf course directly to the East probably doesn’t offend many people either.
Low maintenance yards might not appeal to Mr. Greenjeans but many people like having someone take care of the bulk of their yard maintenance. I’m thinking ASU students, retirees, young families, busy professionals and more. Heck, with an Orbit system and a bus line, getting around town without having to drive might make sense for some as well.
Technically, the neighborhood is called Gardens Tempe but the marketing name and the name on the entrance is River Run. With different home sizes to choose from and with a central location near ASU, Mill Avenue, Tempe Marketplace and all that the near by South Scottsdale scene has to offer, it has plenty of appeal.
Most people like affordability. Students, retirees, winter visitors and others often try to get a lot of bang for their buck. Even though Tempe typically sounds a bit more pricey than some of it’s neighboring communities, homes in the low 100’s are currently not unheard of. Take a look at River Run and let us know what you think. As always, if you would like to take a look at the area, give me a call, I’m glad to help…
