For those of you planning to use I-10 this coming weekend, you should know that a portion of I-10 (Westbound) will be CLOSED. This closure affects the area from the 22nd St exit to the Prince Rd exit. All traffic will be rerouted to frontage road, so expect delays if you are planning to travel in this area. The highway is scheduled to close at 10 PM on Friday (the 15th) and will re-open Sunday (the 17th) at Noon. If you would like more information on this or other planned closures and construction on Arizona roadways, please see the Arizona Department of Transportation website.

Robin - Great info for the local residents to know. I'm sure driving through Tucson will be a bit of a challenge which is why homebuyers in Tuscon should call you to help them navigate the streets and the real estate transaction! Hope you are doing well!
Thanks, Robin for the reminder. We're suppose to go down to help a friend find a new apt for collect. Perhaps this is not the best weekend to go ... I hate sitting on the I-10 with no place to go.
We'll all be taking alternative routes this weekend, but I trust that in the long run this will be a benefit to our community. If traffic flows more smoothly Tucson will be a much nicer place to live, property values will increase, etc. Even the people will be nicer because they haven't spent the last 2 hours sitting on I-10. :-P
