I've Been Asleep At the Active Rain Blogging Switch! LOL

It wasn't until very recently that someone showed me the benefit of blogging. I've been in Active Rain for some time, and appreciate all of you and the posts you write.

I've made up my mind to get started blogging, and I look forward to getting to know all of you a little better.

I've been in sales of some sort all of my working life, and even before I started a career. My first sales job (at age 11 or 12) was a paper route on the northwest side of Chicago.

My company is Copper Canyon Insurance here in Tucson. While there are many fine people in the insurance business, many of them have to march to the tune their company. We call them "captive companies" because it's their way or the highway. If these guys above keep sleeping, the highway may not be too bad, but in difficult economic times like we're experiencing right now, every dollar counts.
