But IT IS the best soccer event in the west...OK...maybe just in Tucson!

As a soccer coach, a soccer mom, and a member the Tucson Association of Realtors (the title sponsor)..

This event is total soccer craziness and tons of fun for everyone!

The event kicks off with Pizza in the Park night on Friday, January 16th. While munching on pizza, browse the many vendors tables and shop for cleats, jerseys, hair decorations, etc.! Later in the night, awards will be given for Best Hair, Best Banner, Most Spirit Team and many more fun categories!

For about 20 years, the Tucson Ft. Lowell Soccer Shootout has given teams and specatators:

* Great competition, lots to do including the fantastic Soccer Olympics!

* Teams from around the world and around the country come to the Shootout for an unmatched soccer event!

* Bracketing that is set up perfectly to match skills and talent from competitive right down to recreational - there is something for everyone!

* Spectacular Olympic style torch lighting kicks off the event with a Parade of Athletes on Friday night, the 16th.

* During the down times, watch or compete in dribbling relays, accuracy shooting, juggling and, of course, a Shootout and win gold and silver medals!
