Liz, I am not the only observer of the HARD WORK you have put into your extremely informational posts. First, I don't know how you know all this stuff. Secondly, you have this uncanny ability to put it all together in such detail (my big weakness). Keith Hunter Jeperson, serial killer, well we will just not mention him with the visitors' bureau on tourism ; ) Great material as always. All I can say is, WOW!!

I keep hoping one of these weeks you might have more on the Forest Gump Part II either tying it into real estate lessons or just for pure entertainment purposes. Did you notice on the Life On A Train video, the theme music. Was from Forrest Gump? I was at a fitness club in the lounge the other day and they had Forrest Gump on the big screen TV and going through that Bubba Lt. Dan jungle Vietnam scene with Bubba dying, the napalm, the helicopters.. it was mesmerizing and many teenagers stopped and watched. I don't think they had ever seen that awesome movie.

Liz: You know who Ronnie Prophet is: How big is he in Canada? I know he lives in Branson, MO now (has a club). The reason I ask, his son is a friend of mine. He never shoots strait on things like that...

While I'm at it, what's the latest on Gordon Lightfoot? I loved the tunes back in the Summer of '74 - He had Sundown out...Carefree Highway too...big year for Gordie in the States.

Lots of fun and great Chilliwack pictures.

Take care!

Chris:  Not so big....lol.......at least not western Canada...Gordon Lightfoot?  I saw him on some award show.......but boy we're dating ourselves - great to see you know some Canadian artists though!  lol

Liz - I find it amazing how little we know about people who grew up so close to home. Jim Carrey for example was a native of Jacksons Point here in Georgina Ontario. Some claim he was born in Newmarket which may have been his actual birthplace as there is no hospital in Georgina.

Uxbridge - Leaskdale - St Pauls Manse

While Uxbridge Ontario has its share of famous people it is know best not for a person but as the home of the set for the Anne of Green Gables series.

"The small hamlet of Leaskdale was home to a famous Canadian Author "Lucy Maud Montgomery", who had her first book "Anne of Green Gables", published 100 years ago. She resided in Leaskdale from 1911 to 1926 and here, as the wife of Rev. Ewan Macdonald a Presbyterian minister, is where she would write 11 of her 22 best selling novels."
