Liz, what a lovely tour you've put together that could take up two to three days. I had know idea you had such artisans in your area. I would seek out first the Native Artists working on those totem poles. Very cool stuff.

Liz, Gary took the words right out of my mouth.  What a nice post, it is so beautiful and to think that we can all experience the artists work.

I love pottery/stoneware - making it as much as buying it. :)
Such beautiful things to do (not to mention beautiful scenery) - and so little time.
Thanks for the 'tour'.

Liz, we will have to decide who is going where first ... soon!

Liz:  What a great post -- makes me want to come visit!

Liz, I absolutely love these posts, I get so caught up in looking at the different artists and their amazing creativity!  Many of these I thought were just gorgeous, thank you for sharing all these links.

Hey Gary - its amazing what you discover when you become a tourist in your own town!  :-)  The native carvings are pretty amazing.......:-)

Audrey - thanks!  It is cool how you can go on a tour and immerse yourself in all that talent and artistry!

Kathy!  I'm glad..:-)  I think you'd love it!

Sylvie!  I didn't know you made pottery!  I've always want to get my hands into that oozy, creamy, mush, gushy clay!  :-) As for the trip, we should set a goal that when we lose...X....and make Y we treat ourselves to a trip!

Carole !  I'm so glad you enjoyed it!  I still have to talk to you about a professional consult on my place, I guess by photos......as I'm selling my place now!

Liz, I don't make it very well ... sometimes it turns out to be something totally different LOL :)  but it's very relaxing (some people like gardening ... I don't...).

Liz,

Cool idea. The wife and I did something similar Sunday down in Skagit County. It was fun and you have some neat artists there.

Sylvie:  I guess thats part of the fun of it....you never know what you're going to get?  I can definitely see how it would be therapeutic!

Steven....your wife gets you to come with her does she!  :-)  I'm sure you had a great time!...
