"We're Going to List in The SPRING" - "Moo" goes the Cow.

I actually laughed out loud today because I heard these words yet another time! Sooo many people say this. "We're going to try to sell again in the Spring", or "We're waiting for the Spring, when the market picks up". etc. When I dig and ask questions about why so many people saying the same thing, I find out that this is just the blind leading the blind. I hear things like, "Well my neighbor told me the Spring is a good time to sell", or "More people buy in the Spring". How do you know what the market will be like in the Spring?

Enough about the Spring!! If you wait until the Spring to sell your house, guess what? ... Everyone else who wants to sell will be flooding the market with their homes for sale too, because EVERYONE thinks the Spring is the best time to sell a house.

If you really want to sell, don't wait until Spring like the rest of the herd. Get your house on the market asap! If you are waiting until after Christmas because of family things, or vacations, then start getting ready to have your house on the market first thing January. Get your place sold before the market gets flooded with competition in the Spring.
