If I procrastinate, stating I will do it then (after Christmas, when the snow falls or once I finish dinner) and that time has now passed, and I realize it would be sinful to procrastinate again (re-wring my TO DO list onto the new page for the 15th day in a row, as an example) then in order to turn a NOW into a WON I must perform the task, deed, done item - thereby succeeding in my promise to do it then, by doing it now.
If Now was Then, and Then is now, now - then doing it then is really doing it now, and I did not really procrastinate at all - so really, I could forestall another day, and by doing so, I would really be doing it now. Since Now at some point in time was really then.
Perhaps then, we should realize it is always now, and we can focus on keeping then back then.
