It's Beginning to look alot like Christmas - Part Two

It snowed yesterday, and it is snowing today. November 21/10 and my new community is blanketed in snow. This was not supposed to happen. Visions of a green Christmas have vanished from my mind, replaced by the reality of snow, gravel, ice and slush. This was not supposed to happen, I sigh, sipping coffee and wondering what the next 3 months will bring.

Reason #1 to move to the Okanagan - to escape the 8 month long, treacherous Winnipeg winters. time to compile a new list of motivations, I reason. Shrugging,I step out onto my terrace. Beauty. Beautiful. Visions. Breathtaking.

The flag hangs listless on the pole outside the Legion, inviting me to don a cap, Uggs, and my camera. C'mon, embrace the day. Another lesson, and more fodder for my Relocation blog - reason #2 to move to the Okanagan - even when it snows on October 21, the beauty and magnificence of the outdoors beckon you, "Come outside, it's time to play!"
