A completely non-real estate related posting here - but I thought I've give you guys some rental ideas - for anyone who likes renting movies! Two GREAT "Documentaries" that I've watched in the last year are Exit Through the Giftshop and Catfish. The reason for my bunny ears is that I'm not sure if they're staged (I didn't want to insult them by calling them mockumentaries). They both have some great twists and leave you with some interesting thoughts - and they both show a peek into our society and what's going on. I loved them both. They're part of this generation's work really..both of them are little edgy so I understand they might not appeal to you at first - but one can never stop learning as long as the mind is open!
Exit Through the Giftshop is really fun - definitely on my top 5 movie list. It's a movie produced by Banksy, a world renouned Grafitti Artist.. It's got twists and turns and it's about grafitti, but not really. I hate to give away movies - so I can't say much, but there's so much more. If you don't like grafitti (I, personally don't love it) - you'll still be interested in learning about the underground society and it's entrance into the art culture. AND the story that goes along. If you like watching trailers, here it is - *Update - I just personally watched the trailer - and it really doesn't give anything away either, you'll just have to trust me and keep an open mind!*
The second movie - Catfish, a documentary following a man's adventures of attempting to find true love after connecting with a woman on Facebook. Big twists!. Would you like the trailer? Here you go. :)
You can rent both of these movies on Netflix or Itunes which means that if you are REALLY tech savvy, you don't even have to go to the video store! Hmmmm... this may be a great idea for a blog for you guys.. perhaps that'll be my next blog - linking your laptop to your tv? Does anyone want to know how?
Anyways, I really hope you enjoy the movies! Let me know!
