I was on face book and a young person was commenting on how she didn't understand why everyone was so happy at Christmas.

I have posted my response. To be honest I got a little misty as I replied.

To be clear I love this young woman as one of my own children, she practically grew up with my own daughter and I'm very proud of what she has accomplished so far in her life (23 yrs old).

Her Comment on Face Book (Christmas Eve.)

White Christmas, ummmm, presents, not hungry, not cold, Sick in a good way ; ) ...
All the Faces that I love on face book are still vertical if a bit cranky.

I Got to read "Was the night before Christmas" to Gabe/Mandy/Ian/Emey/Jeff/Les/me.

Lacey go and give your Grandma a big hug and tell her how much you love her, cuz that is what All the fuss should be about at Christmas.

We need to learn the value of the time we have with the ones we love. That is a lesson I learned after my mom passed away.
