Glen Lyon Cascades may be the newest subdivision in Prince George if rezoning is approved. The current Agriculture/Forestry zone may be changed to residential categories for single and multi family housing.
If the rezoning goes through the subdivision will eventually house 1300 people in an area of 66 hectares. 368 family dwellings and up to 396 multifamily units (based on 60 units per hectare) will make up the new neighbourhood.
The subdivision is expected to take 8-10 years to develop completely, with approximately 30 lots per year being built on.
Glen Lyon Cascades will be situated behind the Lafreniere and St. Lawrence subdivisions.
