We would like to present our ‘Westside Attached Stat Package‘, for the week of October 13th – October 20th. New listing slumped slightly on the Westside this past week with 86 new attached listings (down from 114 the previous week), and continued to outpace sales activity in the Westside attached market through mid-October. Sales transactions also fell following three consecutive weeks of positive growth; with 59 attached sales on the Westside (down from 84 the previous week). Market conditions have demonstrated stability since mid-March and continue to trend upwards with the macro-recovery in regards to global economics. In following with the regular Vancouver market cycles we should see the market begin to pickup as the Autumn season sets in, and consumers get back to business. Numerous lenders are predicting at least one rate hike in the next 3-4 months as Canadian banks look to counter inflationary pressure as the recession eases globally.
This past week there were 198 new active attached listings in the Vancouver West Region with 86 falling in the Westside neighbourhoods. Please note if your neighbourhood is not included in the weekly list it indicates there were zero (0) new listings in your area for that period.
The 86 new active attached listings on the Westside were distributed as follows:

South Cambie (SC) : 1
Quilchena (QU) : 2
Point Grey (PG) : 1
Oakridge (OA) : 2

The Westisde neighbourhoods accounted for 86 : 198 or 43% of overall Vancouver West attached new listings from October 13th – October 20th.
This past week there were 127 sold attached listings in the Vancouver West Region with 59 (down from 84 last week) falling in the Westside neighbourhoods. Please note if your neighbourhood is not included in the weekly list it indicates there were zero (0) sales in your area for that period.
The 59 sold listings on the Westside were distributed as follows:
