Eight times a year Community Dinners are held and open to the community. Tickets go on sale the 1st of every month. Dinners often sellout so purchase your tickets early. Tickets are available at the community centre desk-prices vary with each event.

Once a year the 8th annual James Bay Community Picnic is on June 18,2008 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome.The picnic is a community fundraising event that benefits youth and community programs at the James Bay Community Centre. James Bay Day is an annual event on September 13,2008 at Irving Park with and afternoon of story telling, interactive games, healthy and tasty foods and live music. If you are interested in volunteering for this event contact Alex Dominiak at 389-1470 or email programs@jamesbaycentre.ca .
