This is an excellent opportunity to network.

Every year, the installation of the officers and board of directors of the Alameda Association of Realtors is planned as a holiday celebration that brings together realtors, affiliates, officers from other associations, guests from CAR (California Association of Realtors). etc.

Usually held at one of Alameda’s yacht clubs, the mood is truly festive. Holiday-themed jewelry and accessories are everywhere.

We always have some entertainment planned. There’s usually the emcee telling jokes. Followed by a skit at the end of which we point to and bring to the “stage” the incoming president.

I’ve participated in the skits starting when I was a Realtor-in-training, and it’s one small --- and fun --- way that I can contribute to the association’s many activities. We’ve always had a fun time. We’ve had skits based on popular shows. Last year it was “Mad Men.” This year it was “Project Runway”.

One of my favorites was back in 2009 ---this song is sung to the tune of Santa, Baby. This is our version of our wish for a Christmas present. Hope you enjoy this as much as we did. Sing along and Enjoy!
