Altadena Library District - One Stop Site For Many Information

Did you know that the Altadena Library offers so much to the community? You can be a resident of a community for a long time and not know much about it, right?

The Main Library located at 600 E. Mariposa St. was built back in 1967. It has a very park like setting surrounds the 25,000 square foot building, designed by architect Boyd Georgi.

So, here are number of things available from the Altadena Library District:

Access to over 100,000 books, audio, DVD, video tapes, CD.

Magazines, newspapers, encyclopedia, and online information.

20 computers for adults/young adults and 6 for children, and they are wireless

Passport service - get your passport now. You never know when you will travel abroad.

Events and activities: Magic show, Book Sale, Book Signing, Live theater, Story time, etc.
