Kiara Solar's recent Anderson real estate purchase, is stepping in to play it's part to stimulate Shasta County's economy. The Anderson BioMass facility will be coming back online providing energy for 6,000 homes. Spokeman for Kiara Solar stated the facillity will provide at least 30 jobs. The US Forest Service has granted $250,000 towards the reported $5.5M upgrades being added to the plant. Kiara Solar has designed a system of preheating materials, through solar panels, in converting waste-to-energy. The facility is expected to be back online in December.
Consumer Confidence plays a large part in every economic recovery. The creation of stable jobs in Shasta County is good news for local business and families.
