Beaumont City's New Market Night, in Beaumont, California/ Beaumont, CA

I've noticed that every city that has pride in its community tries to hold a Market Night at least one day a week when the weather permits. Here in the Inland Empire, Redlands has held a Market Night on Thursday nights for years. And same with Riverside, holding their Market Night on Wednesdays.

And now, without any big surprise on my part because Beaumont, CA has as much pride and passion about its community as any city I've seen, The Great Quaint City of Beaumont, California is holding its own Market Night on Tuesday evenings. The Market Night is scheduled to be held at the Rite Aid Shopping Center, at the Oak Valley Parkway exit from the 10 Freeway. I believe it starts at 6pm, but I will need to confirm that fact. Its funny, I've driven past the Market Night sign a dozen or more times, and never taken note of the start time!

This past Tuesday, July 28th was the first official Market Night for Beaumont. Unfortunately I had a previous business appointment that I could not reschedule, but I drove by the Market Night, because I live in the Oak Valley Community, and I needed to get on the 10 Freeway. As I was driving down Oak View Drive, and then subsequently on Oak Valley Valley Parkway, I noticed flocks of Beaumont residents walking to the Rite Aid parking lot, and the Market Night. I wondered if either the city of Beaumont had filled up the lot with booths, or if there really was so many people that came that the large outdoor shopping center parking lot had been filled up.

There were a ton of booths, but droves of people had made it to Beaumont's first Market Night, and made it very, very successful. The Rite Aid parking lot was packed! I was disappointed I could not make it.

By the way, and I think I'm directing this to the officials of the City of Beaumont, California. Beaumont has such immense pride in its people, and its community. It shows with the many events Beaumont holds, like Market Night, the Free Summer Concert Series, The Cherry Festival, Oktoberfest and Beaumont Movie Nites in the Park, and the way the city supports its community with its many projects like the new Oak Valley Parkway bridge currently under construction, the Beaumont-Cherry Valley Water District recycled water project (even if it was delayed awhile!), and the many quality schools Beaumont School District is dedicated to.

I'm not biased to the city of Beaumont, CA because I live here- I live here BECAUSE I'm Biased to the city of Beaumont!
