What would you include in your Auto-BLOG-raphy for others to remember you by?

Delgado property managementWe've all read autobiographies, a history of a person as written by that person. Or perhaps we prefer to think in terms of an anthology, such as the Beatles Anthology, which is a collection showing the history of the Beatles spanning many years. In the case of the Beatles Anthology, the actual Beatle band members were part of selecting the material included. This helps us to not only learn of the Beatles but also to learn what the Beatles thought of themselves, which is even more insightful.

As we blog, we leave our own history of sorts. Our opinions, our strengths (perhaps weaknesses), our local area and any topic we blog about are reflections on us. We all know bloggers whose "voice" we have come to know in a larger sense than any individual blog that they may have authored.

This idea was brought home to me not long ago when I learned that a fellow AR blogger had passed. Even though he is gone, his blogs are still there. His blogs are, in a sense, a history of him and thus they serve as an anthology or, to play on words, autoblography.

What autoblography will you leave? I suppose that this depends in great part on which "you" that you share with your reading public. Given that most of us blog to inform our readers and spread our presence to grow our business we are projecting a certain "self" to our readers. Sometimes we share a bit of our personal "self" and most often we share our professional "self" but, every time we blog, we are sharing something of ourselves.

So, think back for a moment. We all have blogs we've written that are on our own favorites list. Our own choices may not even be the posts that are the most read but may be a favorite for any number of reasons. Are these favorites the ones that you would choose for your autoblogrpahy list? How would you decide which posts should be on your autoblography?

In my short blogging venture I've only written just over 100 posts so far so. At least for now, I only have a rather modest-sized library of posts to choose from. Some of you have authored thousands of posts and so you would have a much larger library to draw from.

Regardless of size of library, the question remains the same. Which ones would you choose for your autoblogrpahy and why?

As of early 2012, my selection would be:

Fair Maiden, a story of love and yearning in Property Management

Have you ever seen a whale with a polka-dot tail?

Have you ever had a listing that made you sad?

This is my very first AR blog post!

Benicia Rental Homes - “Like a box of chocolates”

We are all visual creatures and like our eye candy

In my case, my selections are based on each blog revealing a little bit about the “real” me as I see myself. I don’t take myself too seriously and I don’t get too worried difficulties that come up as I try to always see the lighter side of things.

What blogs would you choose for your autoblography? What "you" will be left on this world wide web for others?
