It's not often you get the opportunity to watch a clutch of barn owls be raised by a great couple, namely Frida and Diego. This year once again they nested, laid their eggs, hatched the eggs and currently have four remaining adorable chicks growing into beautiful birds. It's really an amazing thing to watch. You too can check them out at the Owl Cam .com at your convenience to see the beauty and wonder of nature for yourself. The webcam is a live feed, and the photos change every few minutes.
Frida and Diego have taken up residence in the Benicia Arsenal area seasonally since 2001. Benicia, California's historic arsenal district is home to one of the best artist communities in the Bay Area, and of course Frida and Diego. You can see photos of their humble abode entrance at the link above and learn more about this beautiful couple. I have also put a link here for the art studios and artists that make their home in the Benicia Arsenal area.
So for all of you artists and nature lovers out there, enjoy.................

Linda,
Thank you for reminding us of this great webcam!! and thanks for telling me about the points!! I am getting braver!
Hi Melanie, Thanks for commenting on the blog. It really is a cool thing to watch. So glad to hear you are getting braver. You go girl!
I did not realize that the fluffyness are the chicks and the guard beside them is the adult owl. The first picture I saw I thought it was one big chick. This is soo cool, thank you for sharing,
I enjoy watching the little birds in the morning when drink my coffee on my font porch, I especially am amazed observing the little humingbirds that come to the feeder I put up.
Hi Barbara, I'm so glad you enjoy the webcam. It's absolutely amazing to watch these little guys with mom and dad. I really enjoy the outdoors. My real hobby is flowers, but while I'm outside I get to enjoy a kot of the little critters around. Hummingbirds are so special. We actually had a nest built in our lamp post in the backyard last year and we were able to see two eggs hatch. They didn't come back this year, I miss them. I'll bet you get a lot of enjoyment on that front porch of yours. Do you put color in the feeder?
Welcome Back Frieda and Diego! We have seven eggs this season, and four have already hatched. For all you nature lovers out there, check out the web cam link.
