Brea held it's first ever Miss Brea Contest on Monday, March 10th. It was wonderful. The young lady chosen to be our 2008 Miss Brea w
as Kelsey Dysart. She graduated from Brea Olinda High School in 2007 and now attends Cal State Fullerton and won a $5000 scholarship. The first runner up was Vanessa Atanay, a senior at Brea Olinda.
I was lucky enough to be one of the volunteers of this exciting event, which was held at the Brea Improv. I am looking forward to the coming years, when this becomes an annual tradition for the talented young ladies of Brea. The contest is open to girls from the age of 17 - 24.
