Snow In Camarillo, California
At about 9:30pm last Thursday night my husband left the city of Camarillo (elevation; 165 above see level) for a Christmas adventure due north. The Camarillo Christmas Truck drove for 2 hours to Pine Mountain Summit (elevation; 5160 feet above see level) and was back in Camarillo with a bed full of snow by 2:00am.
Friday morning our children and their friends woke up to a white (almost) winter wonderland.
The joy and laughter was priceless. The snow fights ended without injury, but a life long memory was etched in everyone's mind and hearts.
I am married to one of the best fathers alive and thank God everyday for the blessings we enjoy, even if it is a truck full of snow.

that is the coolest thing I have seen - what a great dad and a great day - I was yelling at my husband - honey it snowed in Camarillo - he was like no way - I said yea Mana said so - hang on she linked photos - then I about died - how cool -
Mana that is the coolest thing. Your husband is an awesome father! The memories your kids will have is PRICELESS.
Hi Mana,
Oh what fun for everyone. And that truck, baby blue...everyone around town must know him!
I love how your son is in shorts. LOL
That looks like a complete blast! Every once in a while someone will head up north and bring back truckloads to the local park... it's as close as many of these kids will get to experiencing the real thing while in their Arizona youth.
Hey Girl
Happy New Year! I am back in the rain and have been SLAMMMED!! How is real estate treating you in 2009?

This is great, Mana. I'm sure they were all happy as can be to see that snow... and that it melted soon thereafter. :)
Mana... I'm wondering if you're still playing in the snow.... would love to hear the latest.
Well I have a lot of snow in my yard that you are welcome to. Kidding, it is really cool the areas of California that saw snow for the first time in a really long time. Have a great day.
Sounds like Dad is a great guy Mana. Good for you and your family!
Incredible site!.
I am from Cameroon and learning to write in English, tell me right I wrote the following sentence: "Loricron tambour style mantle clock raised veneer oak finish."
With love ;), Parley.
What a great dad. It really looks like the kids are enjoying themselves. Of course, I know they have a great mom too.
