Capitola Climate

Capitola's climate is considered mild. Summer temperatures can hover in the mid 70s and winter temperatures in the mid 50s. We see the sun upwards of 300 days a year with relatively low humidity for a coastal city. Rainfall averages about 31 inches each year, mostly between November and April.

Capitola is inviting because of the mild weather and beautiful seaside backdrop. Although the weather is mild, it can get on the cool side due to seasonal morning or evening fog.
