Just 30 miles from downtown San Diego and inland about 4 miles from the beaches, Sea Point offers a resort-like residential environment with pleasant panoramic views of the hills, nearby canyons, and surrounding neighborhoods, which includes multimillion-dollar homes. Some Sea Point homes offer views of the Batiquitos Lagoon and distant ocean. If you are looking at Carlsbad homes for sale, Sea Point Tennis Club may be THE place for you. The ungated Sea Point Tennis Club complex consists of Mediterranean-style condominiums amidst rolling tree-covered hills. Most of the units are single story (many are 2-story buildings) but there are occasionally two-story townhome units that come on the market. Units are predominantly 2-bedrooms, but there are some 3 and 4 bedroom units as well. Parking consists of 1 and 2 car garages and spaces depending on the units. Buildings are attractively positioned along many small private streets, offering a sense of quaint residential enclaves. There are at least 2 baths in every unit, and living rooms feature a fireplace.
The complex offers 4 tennis courts, 2 swimming pools and 3 spas for the residents to enjoy. Because of its location, Sea Point Tennis Club residents are within easy access of golf at La Costa Spa and Resort of the Four Seasons Aviara. The beaches (South Carlsbad State Beach in Carlsbad; Grandview and others in Encinitas) are a 15 minute drive. Shopping and restaurants are also nearby along El Camino Real in Carlsbad and Encinitas.
As of May 11, 2007, there were 4 Sea Point homes for sale (both 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom units), priced from $381,500 to $529,900, and ranging in size up to 1,566 SF. In the last 6 months 5 homes have sold at Sea Point in the $380,000 to $595,000 range.
While many of the homes are private residences, many are also second homes or are used as investments for vacation and long term rental properties. There is a Sea Point Tennis Club Home Owners Association and residents pay HOA fees; there are no Mello Roos fees. All residents and tenants are expected to comply with the HOA Rules and Regulations (see their website). |

Thanks for the accolade, Irina. Glad you stopped by. It really is a pretty complex tucked away in the hills.
