The City of Carmel-by-the-Sea was incorporated on Halloween in 1916, so it celebrates its birthday and the country’s favorite costume-and-candy holiday with a Halloween Parade through downtown — in which all are welcome to participate or spectate — and follows it with a birthday party and hot-dog lunch at Sunset Cultural Center. City dignitaries, VIPs, costumed dogs and kids, and residents and visitors alike gather for this upbeat annual affair. If you are in town, don't miss it!
Look for me! I will be there with my twin girls and dog! I mean Rapunzal and Sleeping Beauty and my other baby - Charlie my Cockapoo! The weather is usuall gorgeous, sunny, and Fall-like! A wonderful family affair and community event!
