I've become even more concerned with the US Banking system after watching the government buy 36% of Citigroup shares. I worked with Wachovia Bank and World Savings and have some idea of the extent of the damage. I hate to be depressing but if employment continues to deteriorate I can't see any Bank in the US surviving without being taken over by the goverment. I can't stand the thought of government run Banks but I believe it will be better than the alternative.
