8th Annual Hawaiian Fusion Fund Raising Event in Contra Costa County
The funds raised from this event support nutritional and human services at the Concord Senior Center. The Center serves over 20,000 hot meals and delivers 25,000 meals to home-bound seniors each year. Some of the proceeds also go towards a scholarship fund for seniors who cannot afford to participate in the Concord Senior Center’s events and activities.
The event takes place September 4, 2009. The location is the Centre Concord at 5298 Clayton Road in Concord. Doors open at 5:30 (no host bar), dinner will be served at 6:30, with the show starting at around 8pm. The cost is $50 for an individual ticket or $450 for a table of ten.
The event’s entertainment features Nathan Aweau, three time Na Hoku Hanohano Male Vocalist of the Year. Also appearing will be Hawaii’s own Ke’ala Pasco and Halau Hula Ke Aolani O Kamaile.
