Ex-Corona Mayor Found Guilty Of Lying To The FBI

Ex-Corona Mayor, Jeff Bennett, has been tried and found guilty of lying to FBI agents. Bennett was fined $10,000 and is ordered to spend 6 months of house detention, 18 months of probation, and 1,000 hours of community service.

Just a side note... 1,000 hours of community service is some serious trash collection time (or another authorized activity).

Bennett was being investigated for multiple items, one of which was failure to file tax returns when he was alleged to have earned into the millions of dollars during the years being investigated.
