Coronado Speed Festival in San Diego

The 13th Annual Fleet Week Coronado Speed Festival was held at the Naval Air Station North Island this past weekend.  The Speed Festival featured over 200 of the world's top racing cars competing on a 1.7 mile course, which was built on top of an active Naval runway.  There was an enthusiastic crowd watching the day long racing events and touring the military displays and navy ship tours. 

My family loves military events and always try to honor and celebrate the men and women of the military by attending Fleet Week and other celebrations... looking forward to this weekend's Miramar Air Show!
