Space Planning ~ Color Consulting ~ Furniture Selection

Today I worked with a lovely lady on a Space Planning, Color Consulting and Furniture Selection Project. I arrived at her home this morning and started the process with some conversation about her home and what she envisioned. I then took my before photos and started the design process.

Furniture Selection:

1. We looked through some catalogs and then online to find styles and colors of furniture that my client liked. She was able to find the style of furniture and make some choices. She wanted to get all new furniture in both the Living Room & Dining Room so we went through a process of selecting pieces she would like to have.

Color Consulting:

1. As we went through the process I began to pick out paint colors for her walls that would work with her furniture selection. We chose three colors that would work well together for both rooms.

• Acoustic White ~ For the ceiling, base boards, doors and door jams.
  
• Snip of Tannin ~ For the majority of the walls.
  
• Chippership Twill ~ For two accent walls and on one part of the staircase.

Space Planning:

1. I then went to work on putting together a Space Plan Design and bring the two rooms together. I measured out the two rooms and then started to place the furniture into the Space Plan Design.

We then went to two of the furniture stores I work with and found all the pieces that she needed and wanted. It will take about two to four weeks for all the furniture to be delivered and that will give her plenty of time to have all the painting done that is needed.

So in a month or so I will go back and fine tune the rooms and take my final after photos. My Client was easy to work with and could make very quick decisions which made it easy to accomplish all of this in one day.
