Where the Real Wild Things Are: New Bengal Tiger Cubs Almost Ready for Petting
In Silicon Valley, most people have gotten away not only from farming, but nature itself. San Jose, Saratoga and Cupertino were formerly home to orchards of apricots, cherries and plumbs. Chickens, pigs and goats were fairly common just a generation or two ago. Now we're out of touch and sometimes need to literally travel outside of our comfort zone to get in touch with nature and the wild.
If you've only have dreamed of petting a real live tiger cub, your opportunity is coming up!

If you've never heard of West Coast Game Park Safari in Bandon, Oregon, get out your GPS or go to www.mapquest.com.
Located 7 miles from Bandon, Oregon on Highway 101, it's a long detour to take off of I-5, but SUCH a memory to share. My daughter said we need to take a special trip up there RIGHT NOW!
