DANA AND PAUL WEILER PARTNERS OF EMPIRE REALTY ASSOCIATES RAISED OVER $4000 FOR THE LAZAREX CANCER FOUNDATION

DANVILLE - Lazarex is an organization that provides access to an incredible new type of cancer treatment to families and individuals that could not afford this treatment on their own. Their mission is to provide resources for cancer patients who've been told they have no other options, but who are not yet done with their journey in life and refuse to give up now.

On Sunday, June 7, 2009, Dana and Paul rode their bikes on a one day, 100 mile bicycle ride around Lake Tahoe and Truckee called "America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride". Upon hearing about this event, Dana and Paul knew that they wanted to participate and do the event to benefit Lazarex Cancer Foundation in their Team For Life fund raising effort. As a result, Dana and Paul raised $4200 to benefit the Lazarex Cancer Foundation. They trained for many long hours and their hard work paid off as they really enjoyed the beautiful ride, snow capped mountains and scenic lake.

"When we saw what an incredible effect this hopeful new cancer therapy had on cancer patients and their families we were simply amazed. Lazarex provides an opportunity for treatment to cancer patients with real needs but without the resources to afford them themselves," said the Weiler's.

With the donations that Dana and Paul raised, it is the first step to changing the face of cancer and helping out people in need.
