The Tale of the Shortest Short Sale and $35,000

My VERY Shortest Short Sale....

Recently I told you about the longest short sale (A Tale of Tenancity, I Refused to take NO for an Answer) I've had in a long time. It's only fair that I give the Shortest Short Sale it's due time.

November 25^th the JP Morgan Chase listing was signed.

November 28^th the contract was received by Jp Morgan Chase

December 2^nd 4 offers had been received

December 4^th Offers Countered, Offer Accepted, We are in Contract

December 17^st We get OUR APPROVAL from Jp Morgan Chase – 13 days

January 21^st close with a 7 day extension to allow for Holiday Vacation Days

We closed this short sale from start to finish in under 60 days.

To top it off the seller received a forgiveness of $1.4 million, with no deficiency. Chase also gave the Sellers $35,000 to short sale their home which I explain here
