With the Election of Tim Sbranti as Dublin mayor, a vacancy was created on the Dublin City Council. On Tuesday (12/9), applications for appointment to the seat vacated by Sbranti were due to the city clerk. Eight Dublin residents applied. The new council member will be appointed by the city council at the Dec. 16 meeting.
