KEEP YOUR HOME CALIFORNIA: New revision
Back in November of 2010 we wrote a post about the new Keep Your Home California program funded by the U.S. Treasury and managed by the CalHFA.
The treasury has approved a plan to use nearly $2 Billion-with a "B"- federal funds to help low and moderate California families to stay in their homes.
The program will provide up to $ 3000 per month to qualified families for up to six months. This will allow California home owners who have lost their jobs to keep their home while they obtain new employment.
Distressed home owners who feel that they may be qualified can call CalHFA at 888-594-KEEP (5337). To learn more about the program and the eligibility requirements got to http://www.KeepYourHomeCalifornia.org .
