Encinitas Real Estate - The Lofts at Moonlight Beach (Residential)

The Lofts at Moonllight Beach in EncinitasThere’s a new loft in town, and it’s going up mighty fast.

If you are seeking a new town house at the beach in Encinitas, these new homes could be just the ticket.

  • Walk to Moonlight Beach – perhaps the best all-around beach in the North San Diego County area (just 3 blocks…you can hear and smell the ocean)
  • Walk to downtown Encinitas for shopping, galleries and dozens of restaurants
  • Work and live in the same complex (stay tuned for post on the commercial units to be offered just below these residential units – need an office? Want a commercial income property?)

The Lofts at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas are just 3 blocks to the beachThe Lofts at Moonlight Beach are located at the edge of downtown Encinitas at the corner of Encinitas Boulevard and the Coastal Road/Route 101. These town homes are located on floors 2 and 3 of the complex (the commercial units are on floor 1). 18 units are available (one currently reserved but they are taking back-up offers). All units will have indoor parking (either a 2-car garage or a 1 car garage plus a parking spot in the below-ground-level garage).

The Encinitas real estate market offers a wide range of housing (e.g., the master planned community of Encinitas Ranch, the funky eclectic surfer community of Leucadia) but finding something brand new near the beach is rare. These Encinitas homes range in size from 1581 SF up to 2561 SF, all with 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Some have additional dens, family rooms and/or reading rooms. A number of the units will have roof decks and all have multiple balconies.

Prices for these Encinitas homes range from $1,422,900 to $2,521,975 for the largest unit. HOA fees have not been firmly established but are reported to be below $500/monthly; there are no Mello Roos to pay. There is still some time to do some customizing by working with the interior decorator, and homes are estimated to be ready for occupancy by September. Children will attend the San Dieguito School District in Encinitas.

Interested? I’m not surprised. After all, what could be better than walking to the best beach for the day, home for a quick shower, then a quick walk to some of Encinitas’s best restaurants for dinner.

Jeff these sound like really nice units.

I have been reading you blog for a little while now, and you have stated the price of houses and Condos many times before.  But no matter how often you mention the prices of houses and condos out there, I still can't get over how expensive they are, and how can anyone afford that kind of mortgage.  WOW!!!!!

George - well, I know what you mean. It is pretty amazing to me as well. Yet things keep selling and people are buying these properties. I guess I am now pretty used to it from being here for 3 years. I nevere would have thought a starter home for $500K was a great deal!!

You might wait for the apartment complex next to it to be sold or torn down before you buy here.  Check this out.
