Did you know Wyatt Earp spent time in Escondido, California? Learn about Earp and his Escondido connection at a free lecture and book signing by author Garner Palenske at 3PM, on December 10,2011 (Saturday). Location will be at the Escondido History Center 321 N. Broadway. Palenske is the author of "Wyatt Earp in San Diego: Life fter Tombstone", using primary sources to provide a look at thelife of one of the Wild West's most famous gunfighters and lawmen during the four years he lived in San Diego.
