I've been living in and loving Fair Oaks since 1979, and I can't think of a place I would rather live or raise my kids in.
Join me on a brief tour of my Fair Oaks, the way I love it.

Oh my word - that's awesome! Thank you, Sally. I know how much you went through to get this puppy posted. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love video! I love all eye candy! :-)
C - I have to whine about what a day this was. I filmed last week, but thought I had til May 15th to edit. I'd planned on spending a leisurely day editing tomroow. As I prepared for 6 hours of appointments today, with 3 different people, I re-read the rules, and saw I had til tonight! EEEKKKK. I have an updated version of my editing software, which is like learning to edit all over again!
To make matters worse I got a migraine. Can things get any worse? Yes... I have a bug and cannot upload to YouTube. Crap.
Patience, drugs (for my head ;) , massages, more patience, phone calls to tech support, work-arounds, 4 letter words, 5 letter words, even a few 7 letter words. a panicked phone call to you..... AAAHHHHHH. BUT. It's 11pm and I did it. The amazing part is I couldn't figure out how to edit the voice-over, and didn't have the patience to redo the whole thing, so the end kind of gets goofy, and I stumble along.. but what the hey.... it's done.
Thanks for the challenge. Now, to bed.
P.S. all the music is copywrite clear.....
Thank you, darlin' and I hope you feel better. I got such a kick out of this. Very nicely done and fun. :-)
Sally - I have to agree with C, very nice and I should get my movie camera down to "The Strip"
But I wouldn't know how to load it onto YouTube?
Sally, Cool video - nicely done. I wish that I had the time to put a video together. Just too darn busy...
Your building consultant for life in Nashville...
Sally, very nice job and well done. I hope it does well for you.
Sally, that was great and I know the time and the effort you put into it, you did excellent on it.

Bob -Thanks. It's actually easy to upload to Youtube. My little FLIP camera practically does it by itself. You just plug it into your pute, the software pops up, you edit it as you want, then click on "share with YouTube". As long as you have an account and password to enter, it takes over from there.
OR... I did this with a bigger digital video camera,, then edited my movie in iMovie on my new MacBook Pro. I have a problem with sharing with YouTube, so I saved it as a quicktime movie on my desktop, then went into YouTube, na d clicked on "download a movie" or something. You just navigate to it on your desktop, then push the button. EASY PEAZY.
Michael - time.... there isn't enough time is there. I vote for 80 minutes hours!
Gabe - Thanks... it was fun to do.
Roy Boy - I appreciate it.
Hi Sally, Great video I loved the tourof FairOaks - almost as good as being there :-) The fact that you met the challenge in spite of software and migraine make it all the more special - thanks!
Mary - If you're ever here in person, I'll tour you around. We can go to the Sunflower Organic restaurant.
Mary- what a nice tour you did. I liked the chickens. I have some of those on my street and I am one of the neighbors who doesn't mind. The art work was really nice too. I love walkway art that tree on the sidewalk was beautiful.
Great video Sally and I think I know more about Fair Oaks than before. I liked that you kept it moving along and changed scenery constantly. Many artists for a small town and lots of nature stuff to do.
Excellent Tour Sally! You missed a shot of our CENTURY 21 Noel David Realty office in the
Village. We usually have a few chickens hanging around too!
Tammy - the big tree mosaic is actuallyin the center of our main intersection. The smaller one is in my friend's front yard. I love them too.
Gary - so glad you watched it. and you are right, nature, art, and more nature.
Michelle - I actually have a shot of your office, but it ended up ont he "cutting room floor". Sorry girl.
Sally and Tammy - you girls are silly, you keep calling each other Mary ! LOL!!
Sally I would love the tour and the Sunflower Organic Restaurant , thanks for the offer!
I'm Mary :-)
Mary... You are just all over everyone's mind. That should be obvious. I hope you don't mind if I edit my previous comment. I told you I was cross-eyed after my day yesterday. Maybe I didn't tell you, but I am.

Sally, I just discovered your blog and just love it! Keep up the good writing, and also the fun videos! There is so much really pathetic video on AR, and yours is certainly not in that class!
I love it. Count me as a new subscriber. And I'm inspired!
