The inland Empireis blessed with a myriad of of parks. The range from simple simple green belts with a few benches to ball fields and regional parks large and
small.Did I mention lakes and national forests?
In a three mile stretch of road in Southridge from Cherry Ave to Sierra Ave there were six parks that counted. these included Martin Tudor /swim lagoon, The Nature Center,SouthRidge Park with the biking trails on one side and Don Day Community Center on the other side.

This picture from the Martin Tudor website.
The park is open year round but like the community pools at the other Fontana locations, the lagoon is closed until summer. This is another location I like to use for large family gatherings. We held a few church picnics there.
