RUN HOME! The Diamond Valley Lake Marathon

Habitat for Humanity Hemet/San Jacinto held the Diamond Valley Lake Marathon last Saturday, January 19, raising money to build affordable housing for people in our corner of the Inland Empire.

There was a marathon, a half-marathon and a 5k run.

The Hemet Home Loan Guy was there with his wife, kids and friends from the real estate community. We participated in the 5k run...which was more of a walk when we found out that no strollers were allowed! Half the time I carried Ellie on my shoulders or arm. It was a beautiful, cool day for a family stroll around the lake and over the dam.

The Hemet-San Jacinto Association of Realtors sponsored the event, along with other local organizations and businesses.
