La Canada Parcel Tax Passes

In a vote directly related to the economy, La Canada Flintridge residents have voted to approve Measure LC, giving the award-winning La Canada School District a much-needed influx of funds.

Measure LC provides for a parcel tax of $150 per parcel, per year for each of the next five years. 

There is a Senior Exemption for residents age 65 and older, and and exemption for owners of contiguous parcels owned by the same owner (so that owner pays the tax once for the contiguous parcels).  To qualify for these exemptions, you must apply by July 17th, 2009.  More information is on the Measure LC website here:  Measure LC Frequently Asked Questions.
